Bottrop, February 6th, 2025 – With a festive ceremony, Yusen Logistics (Deutschland) GmbH, together with the logistics real estate company Prologis and key stakeholders, including the government, the city of Bottrop, and its client Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., celebrated the opening of its state-of-the-art logistics center in Bottrop. The event, held directly within the new warehouse facilities, featured an impressive program: a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Japanese Sake Barrel Breaking Ceremony “kagami-biraki”, accompanied by a Japanese drumming group, symbolizing the official launch of the new logistics center. The celebration highlighted the company’s deep-rooted connection to its Japanese origins. Hiroki Harada, Chairman and Representative Director as well as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd., travelled from Japan to personally participate in the event.
