With the participation of over 200 partners and industry stakeholders, Yusen Logistics France has strengthened its presence in North of France and expanded its reach across France on a global scale.

At this inauguration, Arnaud Léglize, Managing Director of Yusen Logistics France, stated: "By capitalizing on our strategic geographic position in Europe and fostering collaboration with our international partners, we are dedicated to introducing this technological capability to France and developing a new logistics corridor for the European market."

Dunkirk: A New Strategic Hub in Hauts-de-France and the Development of a European Multimodal Hub.

Supported by the North of France region, the Dunkirk Urban Community, and the Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque, this port, located in the northern region of France between Paris, Brussels, and London, has seen significant growth in recent years.

As the first port of call in Northern Europe from Asia, its capacity will be enhanced in the coming years with the doubling of the maritime terminal, the development of port logistics in Ro-Ro, and the expansion of the inland waterway connection with the Seine– Nord Europe canal project by 2030.

The establishment of a 150-hectare logistics development zone will support the 7 billion euros in investments and the major industrial projects taking shape in North of France in the electric mobility and automotive sectors.

A cutting-edge facility designed for optimal environmental performance and certified for pharmaceutical logistics.

Equipped with the latest advancements in energy efficiency and environmental performance and holding the BREEAM Very Good certification, the facility meets the stringent standards of Good Distribution Practice (GDP), ICPE 1510, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP, and AEO, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for all stakeholders throughout the global supply chain.

Spanning 21,000 m², the new logistics site enhances Yusen Logistics' European pharmaceutical distribution network, currently supporting supply chain operations for the healthcare industry.

In addition, the facility will also serve as a logistics platform for other industrial clients of Yusen Logistics, offering seamless connections to the maritime terminal and multimodal transport services for both pre- and post-shipment across Europe.

Strategically located in the industrial and logistics development area (DLI) of the Port of Dunkirk, Yusen Logistics France enjoys direct access to the Flanders terminal, as well as key infrastructure links, including inland waterways, rail networks, and the Western European highway system.
