Commencement of Operations at Yusen Logistics Global Management

Yusen Logistics Global Management Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hiroki Harada, YLGM) has officially commenced operations, marking a transition to a new organizational management structure within the Yusen Logistics Group. Through this evolution, we are committed to driving sustainable growth for both business and society, further expanding our presence in the global market, and solidifying our position as the world’s preferred supply chain logistics company.

On April 1st, 2025, the YLGM officially commenced operations with an opening ceremony held at its headquarters in Tokyo. Hiroki Harada, CEO, addressed employees, stating, "FY2025 will be a pivotal year for the Yusen Logistics Group, as we begin operations at YLGM and formulate the next medium-term management plan. The key theme for this year is "growth." Our strength lies in our people and our global network. Let us continue to expand our network with partners around the world, embrace new challenges together and aim for further growth of the Group."
YLGM, headquartered in Tokyo, has adopted English as its official language and is led by an international executive leadership team. Guided by the principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), respecting individuality and making decisions that are not partial to or based on nationality, gender, age, or other factors. In doing so, YLGM aims to become "A Global Company Headquartered in Japan" as outlined in the NYK Group's CX Story.

Going forward, YLGM, as the leader of global management, will strengthen its operation through strategic planning for the entire Yusen Logistics Group, driving accelerated growth in the global market. In addition, as we enter the final year of "TRANSFORM 2025", the Yusen Logistics Group will focus on fully preparing for the formulation of its next medium-term management plan, which will be grounded in Business Transformation, the foundation of the Yusen Logistics Group's future strategic direction.
